NOTEWORTHY TAKEAWAYS
LEADING THE WAY
Senator Daniel Thatcher is leading the way with water and air policy within his respective chamber and caucus.
His dedication and leadership to our state’s air quality do not go unnoticed. We need more leaders like him to continue the path forward to clean air for all Utahns.
SENATOR DANIEL THATCHER

MISSED THE MARK
Representative Kera Birkeland has failed to provide her constituents access to the clean energy and air quality they want. Her unwillingness to work toward solutions for a healthier environment for her district has proved to be disappointing and problematic. This inaction has resulted in our proud endorsement of her primary opponent.

C+ TO A-
Senator Mike McKell stepped up to the plate, running some of the most critical bills on water conservation this year. Representative Matt Gwynn supported that movement along the way. Their improvement compared to last year’s report card was significant, and we look forward to working with them on innovative environmental policy in the coming year.
